Before You can be able to join the US academy, there are some qualification you need to possess for you to be given admission into the academy. Now lets look at the basic requirements to join the US Air force academy.
Basic Requirements Needed To Join The Us Airforce Academy
- You must Be at least 17 years old and must not have past your 23rd birthday by July 1 of the year you enter the Academy.
- You must be a United States citizen
- You must not be married and must not have any dependents
- You must also be of good moral character
Academic Requirements To Join The US Airforce Academy
- Four years of English Language (with a college preparatory class in writing)
- Four years of mathematics
You must also have a Strong background in geometry, algebra, trigonometry and pre-calculus - Four years of science
Lab-based and should include biology, chemistry and physics - Three years of social studies (to include a course in U.S. history)
- Two years of a modern foreign language
US Air force Academy Looks farward for modern foreign languages with an emphasis on strategic languages such as Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, and Russian. While not a modern foreign language, Latin is acceptable. American Sign Language is not an acceptable course. - One year of computer study
You must have a Computer Science course or related courses that focus on coding, programming, and web development.
