Fuel price in Nigeria is always fluctuating just like the dollar. Though the federal government made official announcement of the prices of fuel to be sold by filling stations in the country, but actually, the price is only applicable to the NNPC filling stations. The NNPC Fuel Price is currently at ₦620 in whole 36 states in Nigeria including Abuja the FCT. That is the fixed price of fuel by the government but this price is only maintained by the NNPC.
The fuel price in Nigeria was is always fluctuating due to various factors such as international oil prices, exchange rates, and government subsidies or policies. But for the few months now, the price of fuel has remain steady at ₦620 per Litre.
